The Carlton Regatta Camp Out Adventure
First Weekend of Each August
The 2008 Version
Carlton and the south Methow Valley host a weekend of river rafting, tube floating, horse riding, music enjoying and fun food and BBQs.
The 2008 adventure starts Saturday morning with our One price for "All You Can Eat" Pancake Feed. Next comes the river rafting adventure. You can bring your own float, rent or buy one from the Carlton General Store or Lightening Pine RV Park or let one of the professional Osprey River Rafting Adventure guides take you and your crew down in one of their 6 person rafts. No matter how you do it, everyone gets wet!!!
After we dry out, be ready for the Saturday night BBQ while tapping your wrinkled toes to some of our local music...
and some good music it is!
Select your camp site either at the Carlton RV Park (509-923-2323) right in Carlton or a dozen miles down river in Methow, at the Lightening Pine RV Park (509-923-2572). Both campgrounds offer you a unique setting for your night under our star filled skies. Full hook ups, bath/shower house, fire wood, river tube rentals and more. If you want someone else to do the paddling, then call on our professionals, Osprey River Rafting Adventures.
Sunday offers you another day on the river, but only after you have one of our wonderful country breakfast buffets to get you started.
